Funny Things

I love that my kids say funny things and make me laugh all of the time.

Until recently what goes on in my 5 year-old's head was mostly a mystery but now that he has a brother he has conversations with him all the time that are very enlightening.  My favorite was when he was teaching his baby brother about using the bathroom.  He said in his baby voice (because of course he needs to be voice for both sides of this conversation) "How do you know when you need to go to the bathroom?"  His response, "Sometimes you don't know you need to go until you pee a little bit in your pants, and then you run as fast as you can to the bathroom!" Nice.

My 2 year-old lately has been adorable with her stuffed animals.  She frequently calls them her friends and I find them all over the house lined up at attention, with a plate of play food in front of them, tucked in bed with a blanket, or buckled in the baby's car seat.  The other day she was cuddling one of her stuffed animals and said to me, "I'm feeding my baby chocolate milk out of my belly."
